At Sunanda Enviromental International Pvt. Ltd., our Project Management Unit (PMU) works closely with the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DWSM) and Public Health Engineering Department (PHE) to ensure the successful implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in rural Bengal. Our core objectives include:
Technical Assistance: Supporting districts for implementing rural water supply schemes to provide FHTC in rural Bengal. Water Quality Monitoring: Assisting district laboratories in maintaining GLPs by ensuring the presence of proper infrastructure; availability of instruments and monitors; availability of chemicals reagents and standards; imparting water quality knowledge to the laboratory personnel.
Capacity Building: Training staff at DWSM, Blocks, and GramPanchayats to enhance program efficiency.
Operation & Maintenance: Collaborating with agencies to adopt sustainable water source management practices.
Community Awareness: Promoting awareness and capacity-building through Village Water and Sanitation Committees (VWSC).
Monitoring & Evaluation: Strengthening MIS, ensuring compliance with PFMS, and evaluating the impact of JJM initiatives.
Project Performance Improvement: Assessing and sharing best practices to enhance the JJM program.
Miscellaneous Activities: Applying lessons from NRDWP and other initiatives to support mission goals.
