In the wake of recent floods affecting Udaynarayanpur, Amta I and Amta II an urgent need arose to address the critical issue of safe drinking water and risk associated with waterborne diseases. In response Sunanda Environmental International Pvt Ltd. Stepped up to the challenge by initiating a special IEC (Information, Education and Communication) awareness Program aimed at educating the community about the importance of consuming clean water and implementing preventive measures to protect public health.
Key Highlights of the Program

The program prioritized the importance of consuming safe water during and after flood. Residents were informed about how to identify clean water sources and the necessary purification methods to ensure their water is safe for drinking.

To meet immediate needs, we distributed packaged drinking water from Mobile Treatment Units throughout the affected areas. This initiative provided residents with access to safe drinking water, significantly reducing the risk of health complications linked to contaminated water sources.
